What is LGS ? Creativity and quality - a life-style and a passion... I stood on a board for the first time as a young boy when I instantly knew : all my life would gravitate around skateboard, snowboard, windsurf and every other boarding sport… After I built my first miniramp in our garden with my Dad during my apprenticeship as a carpenter, I travelled around the world with my boards. Coming home and truely faithful to my convictions, my big adventure was only about to start : 1995 production of the first Longboards; some were sold to a few customers; the others went to friends, family, etc. 2000 Purchase of the workshop in Le Brassus; first commercial sells to a few Swiss Skateshops 2004 Development and construction of the Skateboard production line; first sale of a LGS Skatepark; Development and production of the first Downhill Board, the famous “Helvet Rocket”; first LGS Jib Rails sold. 2007 Opening of the „LGS Board Shop“ on the first floor right above the workshop. 2011 LGS Webshop is online; a new website too; our product range offers now 8 Slalom- and Longboards and around 20 different Skateboard shapes. I’m daily innovating in work processes, tools and product. Nothing stops me developing new techniques in order to raise the bar of technical and esthetical quality higher and higher. The activity of LGS - in constant evolution - consists today of 4 different product families:
